Let's see... what's new?
Had that big thesis review on Monday, it went really well. Got some good compliments on my project.
Had my lame grad pictures on Tuesday (I hope you're happy mom). I asked for the laser background but they didn't have it.
Speaking of lasers, today was users/lostghosts birthday! And we played LASER QUEST! (Zappy birthday Jazmine!)
My code-name was Bossk, and I came in third place. I shot 682 lasers!
I'm an internet enthusiast. I purchased another domain today. It's addicting.
And if you're not already, you should get on Twitter. It's super cool.

Wow, I think this is the first time I've updated my journal two days in a row since 2005.

I've been working all day on my design thesis, making mockup's and such.
I just posted pictures of them in my blog which is here: http://blog.attichermit.com
I've been nostalgically browsing through old pictures from high school. I really miss those days, and even though I've probably posted these pictures 500 times, I don't care.

Here's a good old fashion LJ CUT!

I still remember how to do it!Collapse )

What? People are actually using livejournal? (or at least it appears that way) Why didn't anyone tell me?

Highlights/Things that are on my mind:

I'm finished school in April. For good.
I can't wait to hike large mountains.
I'm volunteering at FITC, and David Carson is speaking. Interesting.
My design management teacher just told me we're having a LEGO day. (epic)
I'm addicted to Twitter.
I'm in a really nostalgic mood, and I feel like catching up with people I haven't talked to in a while.
I have no idea what I want.
I want to migrate west. In a conestoga wagon.
I'm excited to get a job, but I'm going to have a difficult time finding one.
It's warm today.
Hopefully I'm seeing WATCHMEN tonight.

School's boring. I want life. And then more school.
I've been going to the movies a lot lately. Here's a brief synopsis:

Juno: good.
The Darjeeling Limited: Solid. "Hey, Check out those assholes!"
Into The Wild: Good story, a little too narrative (and a bit overboard)
Cloverfield: Entertaining, interesting, but I still feel like I'm missing a lot of potential story-line.

The other day I was at the movies and we were looking up at the CN tower thinking "If it toppled over... do you think it would hit us?" So I decided to find out how close you have to be in order for it to hit you.
Check out my diagram after the cut.

In other news... Pownce just went public... so join up. It's good times.

TMNT, is still an amazing movie.
Fun Fridays are amazing.

I finally went back to work today... it kinda sucks working again, the one month vacation was prime.
I need to go sledding big time, its been far too long since I've gone sledding.
The Macbook Air is the shittiest piece of garbage I've ever seen. And I haven't seen it yet.
What I really want is one of these:

Wacom Cintiq Tablet Display

I want to travel everywhere.
Where should I go first?

So here we are, 2008.
In 2007 I only made 5 LiveJournal updates. Despicable.

Saw the movie Juno last night, it was fantastic.
While we're on the subject of fantastic, I received a lot of fantastic Christmas presents this holiday season. I went to see the Blue Man group (quite fantastic—everyone should see it at least once), I got a Dwight Schrute bobble head (assistant TO the regional manager), I got new snowboarding gear, and an amazing little device called an Elgato EyeTV Hybrid which allows me to watch TV, record TV, and even play Wii on my computer (no more lame TV).

Okay so I've decided I need to see a lot more movies—while they're still in theaters.
I missed a lot of good movies in 2007.

Umm... I want one of these:

(It's a wearable sleeping bag)

Oh—and if you still havn't heard, Portal is mind blowing. Check it out.

Wow, I guess LJ is making a come back!

So yesterday I hit up Maine with Angela and her family, it was good times. I really like the Maine coast, it made me really want to go to the Maritimes, I might take a trip there this summer. Today I wore a suit. It was pretty fun. Tomorrow Steve, Pat, Jeff and I are hiking Mt. Monadnock. Perhaps I'll post pictures of our excursion. That would be exciting, and very nostalgic.

Anyways, summer's here and I'm fully embracing it.
